So this is my week that I would usually end up having some kinda snafu come up and derail all of my hard work...Last week's move could've, would've done me under before...Not now, I am on a mission!
Yesterday was my official 2 month anniversary at Spark People.....Just taking it one month at a time right now.......Feels great!
I've also been calorie cycling for a month now....I've lost about 4lbs. over the month, but I've also gained muscle, which means that though there was a 4lb. loss on the scale, my fat loss is actually more since I have gained muscle weight.....Alot of stuff doesn't show up so well in pics, such as the hardness or density of my muscles......That is a big change........Also, alot of the definition is difficult to get to show, or I can't manage to get in the right pose for it when I am also trying to take the pics myself....Oh, well, I know it's there and it's rockin'.
For those of you who are curious about Calorie cycling, all I can say is its great! I mean, yeah, you end up eating alot of food some days (look at my schedule up on the sidebar).......And that scared the living spit outta me at first, but yanno what, if it works.....KEEP DOING IT!
The concept makes total sense, your body stays confused, your metabolism stays regular or more amped up 'cause it doesn't have to worry about a famine coming........There is NO WAY my body could think that with all the food :)......Also, with all of the new recipes I'm coming up with I don't really ever feel deprived AT ALL.......I get all of my sweetness, all of my spicyness....it rocks.
The other thing I think that has been working well for me is the HIT routines on weights......I changed my routine up when I was about 3 wks in...then I changed it to HIT (or HIT lite, since I am now doing a more animal type workout)....Now, I am doing HIT, but with drop sets....I can only imagine the change that will take place in this 3 week period........No matter, my body stays confused and THAT is a VERY good thing........I know you don't have to change things up quite as frequently, but I have come across these new concepts and decided to add them in, and POOF there is a change......it also keeps me excited to go do more.......Then of course, there is finding Kettlebells.........that's gonna be a whole new thing.
So that is what's up with me.....I'm gonna try to add in some more detailed stuff here since I realized it is alot more of an outline for me but maybe not the most readable place in the world LOL........I will still try to keep my pic meals but maybe not to the extent that I was....I will also add in more recipes.
